Many gigs tonight in Paris, we chose to stick with BABYSHAMBLES for their LIVE return to Paris. It's been may years, way too long. I guess we all have enough  of Peter's shambolic acoustic gigs.
We want some proper Rock 'n Roll and BABYSHAMBLES is the right band.

Jake Bugg is opening, we already saw him once @ L'Album de la Semaine TV show. He's OK, the audience likes him. Lots of beautiful girls in the audience but it seems that many people are here just to be with their friends , talking and having a drink, more than to attend a proper rock concerts.
Then we have a walk backstage, the band is ready, Peter still in his port cabin. We walk on stage with them and their entourage.
Of Course we have a perfect view, not sure but it sounds like they've played the new single ( just heard it on the BBC, it's rockin' and smokin') then some of the hits including "Fuck Forever", the last song of a VERY short set, no more than 30 min.
The band is tight and Peter in fine spirit.
Really nice show but 30 min ?!? Come on guys !!!

As soon as Pete's leaving the stage he's caught by OUi fm for a very short interview , behind the stage we can still hear the audience asking for more. But the band won't go back, too bad.

Legendary photographer Bob Gruen is seen hanging around backstage.

Crosby , Stills & Nash 2 @ Olympia, Paris, July 05 2013

Another GREAT show by CSN
They basically played the same sets, once again we had Christopher on guitar and vocals on "Treetop Flyer" and he came back for the encore song.
Each one had his solo spot
Stephen was once again rockin' on the guitar with extended solo on some songs

Crosby Stills & Nash @ Olympia, July 04 2013

Crosby Stills & Nash @ Olympia, July 04 2013

The Cast: Todd Caldwell (organ), Shane Fontayne (guitar), Steve DiStanislao (drums), Kevin McCormick (bass), and James Raymond (keyboards)
& CSN

End of June and beginning of July has been very busy, after one of the quietest year we ever had, with ZZ TOP, Queens of the Stone Age, Hellfest, The Smashing Pumpkins, Mark Knopfler, The Black Crowes, Bruce Springsteen, Band of Horses, The Who and now... CROSBY STILLS & NASH.
From what's we've seen so far, old geezers are kicking youngsters' asses. Will it be the same tonight ?

I can tell you straight away that:  YES,  CSN still has the flame burning.
OK they're like a diesel engine , they need a couple of songs to warm up, specially for the voices, once they're hot ... can't stop them.
The setlist hasn't changed that much since the last time we saw them at the very same Olympia theatre, they've dropped all the covers they were doing for an album that was never released and they have a couple of new songs (see setlist below for details) and of course all the hits.
This time the gig is not divided into the "Electric set" and the " acoustic set" it's all mixed up for good. Still with two sets and a short intermission in the middle.
Hard to go wrong with all those great songs, bonus for Paris Stephen 's son Christopher is playing on "Treetop Flyer" while her mother is in the audience. He will be back for the last song.
As always with CSN , each one of them has his solo spot and this time they're mixing acoustic stuff and electric.
Stephen Stills taking many lead with extended solo...
GREAT gig , they did it again.
No surprise that both shows are sold out : tonight and tomorrow.
They are doing great shows , people are coming back to see them , even with silly prices, as tickets were up to 135 euros.
