Lady Gaga @ Paris Bercy Dec 21 2010 Last show on "The Monster Ball Tour" for 2010

Lady Gaga @ Paris Bercy Dec 21 2010

Last show for ROCKERPARIS for 2010 our 211th, Yes 211 show.
Can't say that this one rock.
In fact after Britney Spears (check our review) it was the biggest piece of shit we've seen... or heard properly speaking.

NOT one good song for the WHOLE show, she's been called the New Madonna , she's nowhere near Madonna.
Madonna (check our review of the Stade de France 2008 show with great pics from Patrice) has the songs and even if don't own any of her records you know 2/3 of the songs as they're played all the time on radios.
I've heard that Lady Gaga's shows were stunning, well not really true, there' are lots of things going on on the stage, lots of dancers, lots of different dresses (some of them ridiculous),different themes all along this show : a massive production but far from being as good as Madonna.
Ok she's really singing LIVE : she has a great voice and is making a point of telling the whole world about it ( "No Lip-Synch here !" ) which Madonna doesn't do and when she does, she's flat.
Great voice when she's on her own on the piano , too bad when the whole band is playing her voice is drowned in too many backing vocals.

Lots of talking between songs to thank her fans and even in the middle of songs which is a bit annoying specially when she's singing quiet songs on the piano.
She's acting a bit weird as if she was high on something.

silly outfit

Lots of young kids in the audience ( 10 years old).
even signing stuff from fans on stage

The music might be complete crap but the show is entertaining !

on the "catwalk"

everybody Say "YEAH !!!

Even the Fountain nearby my "castle" has been Lady Gagazed.

ROCKERPARIS is on holiday tonight but we'll keep you inform with news.

In a few days the BEST and WORST shows of 2010

Casting for « Confession d’un enfant du siècle », a movie with Peter Doherty & Charlotte Gainsbourg

Peter Doherty & Charlotte Gainsbourg together in a movie... soon

Pics : Peter @ Maroquinerie & Charlotte @ L'Album de la Semaine. (click for review)

ROCKERPARIS has no relations whatsoever with the Production , it's only a "News".

Airbourne @ Trabendo, Paris for OUI FM radio, Dec 18 2010

Airbourne @ Trabendo Paris for Oui Fm "Bring the Noise" radio show
Dec 18 2010
Last in a serie of 3 gigs @ Trabendo club in Paris France for OUI FM radio show " Bring the Noise". It's a free show for competition winners and guests.
Airbourne played the nearby Zénith (6500 capacity) last year, tonight for this "secret" radio show @ Trabendo (500 capacity) it's far from being full, we had a snow storm around 5:00PM ( in fact it's only a bit of snow, no more than 3 cms) but you can't drive into Paris and trains are NOT working.
What the FUCK is that country that's paralyzed for 1 inch of snow ?!? Can you tell me ???

JD, Wine, Beer... and lots of water too !

The band was very late as they took the stage at 10:00 PM.
Man, These guys are crazy it was non-stop pure rock'n roll for 90 min, hard to believe how they can do this. No need to tell you than the pit is like the city of berlin in 1945... a massacre.
Fortunately the singer-guitar player is providing the booze, but he kept the JD for him.

More beer...

They're Australian and you can hear it , they're a heavier version of AC/DC even though songs tend to sound a bit the same.

LET'S FUCKIN' ROCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These guys are giving it all on stage !
Perfect gig for a saturday night and i'm sure the band had a good time afterwards as there were lots of groupies waiting by the backstage door.

Eye to eye !
Status Quo is in da house (left) setlist (far right)

In Your Face !

-M-
+ The Goastt + Johnny Hallyday
@ Paris Bercy Dec 17 2010

First on stage for the last time on this tour, Yes that's the end of the Tour for Matthieu, The Goastt is playing the same set as the previous day, a 5-6 songs set ending with Serge Gainsbourg's "Comic strip".
I love The Goastt when they're playing electric, maybe Sean should not apologise every two minutes for being here.

Cool !
Then it's time for -M- to take the stage in front of a full house and the show is broadcasted LIVE in its entirety (2h30) on a French tv channel.
Same show as yesterday and the previous day, some good parts when he's playing his songs and some less interesting parts when he's playing with the audience (people are loving it but we don't, yes I know we're boring old farts), he's asking for complete silence, then asking for people to do gym, then for everybody to sit down, including the standing pit and so on...Boring.

Lots of musicians , dancers... on stage, lots of guitars too as he's a great guitar player.
As you can see on Pics he's running around Bercy on his own saying hello to fans even at the very back of the venue. He's also playing a few songs on the catwalk

The Goastt are back on stage with him for a couple of songs and French Elvis Johnny Hallyday is doing a duet to rousing applauses (here on video).

He's getting lots of people on stage for a song many of them are relatives including lots of kids from the entourage.

Good show and this time we are, including our photographer Patrice Guino, in the vip stalls, always nice to have a different view from gigs to gigs.
It's also a nice way to relax.
It was our 208th concert this year

-M- with Johnny Hallyday:

We should go tomorrow @ Trabendo to see heavy rockers AIRBOURNE and maybe to Lady Gaga @ Bercy the next days, yes the music is crap but we've been told that the show was stunning.
