Jacques Dutronc @
Zénith ParisJan 14th 2009
French singer Jacques Dutronc is back on stage for the first time since 1992.
All the shows @ Zénith are sold-out , 5 in a rowbetween the 12th & 16th of jan.
He will be back in Paris for more gigs this summer.
It's the first that we're seeing him on stage.
With
Vincent Lindon as a guest on vocals for a song
He's here to play all the hits, all dressed in black including his musicians , black & white stage & lightning.
As cool as ever , strangely enough he's drinking
Perrier on stage and not whiskey and he's NOT smoking his trademark cigar.
Famous french session bass player & composer
Jannick Top is on ... bass ,
Erdal Kizilcay (ex David Bowie ) is on guitar, a gorgeous blonde on backing Vocals & flute ( Sophie Braconnier ) & other musicians (couldn't get their name ).
Jacques Dutronc is relax for the whole 90 min gig maybe a bit too much. His speeches between songs are a bit lame anyway songs are speaking for themselves and we had them all:
NOT in that order.
The band is rocking with some nice guitar soli, they even introduced one song with some
Rolling stones riffs.
Jacques is not doing that much behind the mike leaving the spotlight to the musicians when he's not singing.
The
Cool set but it could have been a bit better.
Crack Boum Huuuuu !!!
See Ya
