Busy week-end , it started on friday with a late visit of the Exhibition "Samurai, Armor of the warrior" @ Musée du Quai Branly with a personal guide plus some aftershow performances with some crazy japanese musicians & some other stuff. Real Cool !
Elie Wiesel (far left), Monkey @ Louvre

We did some crazy shit on saturday but we can't talk about it, apart from Other Lives cancelling their showcase @ fnac store.

On sunday morning we had a meeting with Nobel Prize laureate Elie Wiesel talking about his new book and some religion...Yes I know we're getting very serious.

Later we went to the Drouot-Montaigne exhibition with some interesting Pics, sculptures... here are some samples below with Barbie travelling and some double sided pics of the Beatles among others.
Barbie by Fabrice Sandré---Patrick Rubistein (Beatles/All you need is love -Paris/NYC)

Last but not least with went to the upper floor of the Louis Vuitton store to see (and hear) a very conceptual musical exhibition with different pieces of art from different artists that was really cool, you could even be part of it by making music yourself with some of it... we did and we had a great time.

@ Espace Culturel Louis Vuitton

Hellfest 2012 Line-up so far...finalized ?

Updated Feb 20 2012: OZZY & Friends instead of Black Sabbath
unfortunately we were right about BS cancellation

updated Feb 02 2012 : MOTLEY CRUE & GUNS N ROSES @ HELLFEST 2012
Not Sure about BLACK SABBATH as there are strong rumours that the whole Tour is canceled, It also may not be the ORIGINAL line-up if they are touring as Bill Ward seems to be booted out of the reunion, check his statement on his official site.
"Los Angeles, CA – February 2, 2012
Dear Sabbath Fans, Fellow Musicians and Interested Parties,
At this time, I would love nothing more than to be able to proceed with the Black Sabbath album and tour. However, I am unable to continue unless a “signable” contract is drawn up; a contract that reflects some dignity and respect toward me as an original member of the band. Last year, I worked diligently in good faith with Tony, Ozzy and Geezer. And on 11/11/11, again in good faith, I participated in the L.A. press conference. Several days ago, after nearly a year of trying to negotiate, another “unsignable” contract was handed to me."
Motley Crue will also play @ Zénith in Paris on June 18 2012 (not confirmed yet)

Reminder: HELLFEST 2010 with KISS , Alice Cooper, Twisted Sister, Slash, Motorhead...

Lulu Gainsbourg @ Fnac Ternes, Paris Nov 25 2011

Lulu Gainsbourg @ Fnac Ternes, Paris Nov 25 2011
Lulu Gainsbourg has just released an album with covers from his late father Serge Gainsbourg feat. lots of well-known artists: Marianne Faithfull, Scarlett Johansson, Iggy Pop, Vanessa Paradis & Johnny Depp and others not for the best result I've been told.
Anyway, he did , probably the shortest showcase I have ever attended.
He only played two instrumental songs on the piano, it probably lasted 4 min in all.
We were expecting songs from the album but he didn't sing at all.
Then we had a interview in which he told us that he was more a musician and arranger than singer ( the press slag him off for being a lousy singer) that's probably the reason why he didn't sing even though there was a microphone in front of him. He's more interested in being a composer for movie soundtracks., and gave us some of the names of the people he contacted for his album that didn't (or couldn't) make it including Bono from U2.
Then he signed copies of his album
