First part of the -Fête de la Musique- @ Colette store with Folk singer Mina Tindle for a short solo set of her folk-rock songs, from the brand new album. Cool ! Electro-Acoustic guitar with some loops.
Strangely there are not too many people but the Rockerparis gang is out in force for this gig.
After some pizzas and drinks we have Saint Michel from Versailles, for a VERY short set of a few -two minutes songs- 20 min max. they sounded a bit like Kings of Convenience.

Always a lively atmosphere @ Colette with lots of sexy chicks with free drinks and food, they know how to welcome costumers.

Nice starter for the evening before going to the Prime Minister's residence @ Hotel de Matignon to see French band Pony Pony Run Run.

Free show @ Colette, nice atmosphere, even though there are more and more people at each session, always nice to meet lots of our friends and see new sexy girls.

New wave and electronica on this afternoon program of the Colette Music Box.
First we have the Synth 80's New wave of Canadian duet Chevalier Avant Garde. (click for video)
Then Grimes, which is in fact a young girl on electronic devices for a pure set of 100% electronica, well... not the kind of music we like, in fact we hate that stuff but it was interesting seeing that girl performed, she's possessed.She's playing a sold-out show tonight at Fleche d'Or
Not our music but fun to watch.

Another show @ Colette for Music box #13, first band on stage is Exotica, electro pop, nice but not our style.
Than we have Owlle, she started as a folk artist with Marie-Flore but she's now into electro.
Last on stage is Lescop for some french New Ave à la Joy Division.

Not really the kind of music we like @ Rockerparis but we had a good time as many friends joined in and as always Colette and his sponsors are feeding us with some nice food & beer.

It's time for some proper rock music as we're heading to the nearby Olympia theater to see Roger Daltrey form The Who.

Once a month, trendy Colette store is organizing a concert @ The water bar in the basement of its Rue St Honoré store.
It's free and the food & drinks are sponsored so there 's always quality food, this time it's homemade Marshmallows by Pain de Sucre for everyone. (& some macarons & champagne on your way in).

Erevan Tusk

First band on the tiny stage is Erevan Tusk , quality 60's influenced pop-rock, very ambiant à la Mercury Rev, in English for this french band, great songs.

The Teeers / Kids wanna ROOOOCCKKK!!!

Then suddenly the basement is getting packed by many kids, don't know where they're coming from, the oldest is probably 15 and the youngest 5-6 years old.
What the Fuck ???
The headlining act The Teeers is a power trio, hard to believe but those kids are really rocking and the musicianship is high considering that each one of them is barely 14 years old. Yes... 14 years old.
Now we understand why there's so many kids down here.
They have their own songs, good ones heavily influenced by the English pop-rock & Arctic Monkeys and they're singing... in English.

They are the Real baby-rockers and they fucking rock ! and they already have lots of groupies !
