LED ZEPPELIN to reissue first three albums newly remastered on June 03 with companion disc of "unheard" material

First Three Albums Newly Remastered By Jimmy Page,
Each With An Additional Disc Of Previously Unreleased Companion Audio
With the June 3 release of deluxe editions of Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin II, and Led Zeppelin III, the band will launch an extensive reissue program of all nine of its studio albums in chronological order, each remastered by guitarist and producer Jimmy Page. Led Zeppelin will also open its vaults to share dozens of unheard studio and live recordings, with each album featuring a second disc of companion audio comprised entirely of unreleased music related to that album.
"The material on the companion discs presents a portal to the time of the recording of Led Zeppelin,” says Page. “It is a selection of work in progress with rough mixes, backing tracks, alternate versions, and new material recorded at the time”

Little Dragon @ L'Album de la Semaine, Paris March 06 2014

Little Dragon @ L'Album de la Semaine, Paris March 06 2014
Swedish Electro-pop band playing famous Canal+ tv show to promote new album.
Electro's not really our stuff but it's always nice to discover new bands, specially in these conditions in the studio, alost as if the band was doing a home show.
Nice music even though it's hard to single out a song, too bad that the whole band dressed like shit, they should get a better "look" as the guys look like male nurses playing in a local band.
They should hire a stylist... anyway, nice music and nice singer.

SETLIST: 1) Klapp Klapp 2) Killing Me 3) Underbeat 4) Cat Rider 5) Nabuma Rubberband 6) Paris 7) Pretty Girls

Aloe Blacc @ L'Album de la Semaine Canal+, Paris March 04 2014

Aloe Blacc @ L'Album de la Semaine Canal+, Paris March 04 2014
setlist for tonight's show

Aloe Blacc promoting new album "Lift your Spirit" by playing famous Canal+ tv show. Smartly dressed with 6 musicians all wearing black costumes and black hats except for the two guys on saxo and trumpet, dressed in white (?!?).
Nice songs, Aloe is a great singer and seems to be a very nice guy but the music is a bit "light", it's lacking passion and "soul" which is a bit of  a shame when you're playing soul music.
Very enjoyable set of songs but it's lacking something...

Little Dragon on March 06 &  Metronomy on March 07 will also play the same TV show.

March 05:
"Live me Do" on France Inter, radio recording with Metronomy, Owlle & Mr Clerck.
Free entrance, first come first serve at the radio à 6:30pm

Once again @ Stella McCartney's show for the Fashion week, we were expecting Paul McCartney to turn up, he was in Montpellier a few weeks ago to attend the Première of Linda McCartney's exhibition of photos , he also did some skiing in Megève but he was not in Paris today to support his daughter.
Dhani was there with girlfriend, Marianne Faithfull and superstar Rihanna.

Beady Eye @ Bataclan, Paris Feb 27 2014

Beady Eye @ Bataclan, Paris Feb 27 2014
First time that we're seeing Liam Gallagher with his own band Beady Eye, Can't tell you that we were great OASIS fans, in fact we were NOT. Funnily enough we've seen Noel Gallagher's band High Flying Birds quite a few times and we liked what we saw and heard.

A lot a people warned us before the show, you don't like OASIS so you're gonna hate this... in fact NO.
That's enjoyable, Liam's not playing the douchebag like he used to in Oasis, songs are pretty good, maybe not as good as Noel's and the voice is fine

Even fans told us this concert was much better that the previous one in Paris.

Overall good show and ...

Hell Yeah !

Bootsy is leaving the stage a couple of times during the gig to have a rest a let  first his sexy backing vocals girls treating us with a nice rendition of Deee-Lite's "Groove Is in the Heart" and then his Backing Vocals men for some more soulful songs.
There is also a nice tribute to Buddy Miles with « Them Changes ».
Bootsy is doing the show more than he plays bass but that's ok, he's even getting into the pit to the delight of his fans.
Strange ending inviting the audience on stage on stage for the last song "One Nation Under a Groove" no encore but a 120+ min concert that was GROOVY.

St Vincent @ Album de la Semaine Canal+, Paris Feb 19 2014

St Vincent @ Album de la Semaine Canal+, Paris Feb 19 2014
After playing @ Cigale yesterday night (video below) St Vincent will play songs from the new album à famous Canal+ TV show L'Album de la Semaine

Nice show from St Vincent , on each song there is a dance choreography or stage moves that are adding a theatrical parts to the concerts.
She's playing some nice guitars licks on a few tunes but it's a bit too electro for us, in fact I don't remember her being so electro, not really our stuff but enjoyable.
Didn't say a word for the whole set just a wave and a "Merci" at the end
