PRINCE will do an interview and a showcase @ RTL radio on Oct 12th in the afternoon ( don't think it will be open to the public )
and there will be a Press conference and a gig @ La Cigale.

Last week I was telling you about a show @ La Cigale ( or press conference ) on Oct 12th.
There will be a Prince party there that day but lots of people are talking about Prince actually PLAYING. It hasn't been confirmed yet.

Queen Adreena 's female lead singer Katie Jane Garside is singing in another band called Ruby Throat which is a duet with guitar player Chris Whittingham.

Two minutes walk from Le Batofar there is another tiny boat called " La Dame de Canton" ( The lady from Shenzhen ) the atmosphere is more intimist , people are seating and listening religiously to her soft frail voice over the laid back guitar licks.
Unfortunately I get there too late , the show was supposed to start at 10 PM but I only saw the last 20 min.
Too bad it was really good

When I arrived in this tiny boat Le Batofar just in front of the Bibliothèque François Mitterrand , Swedish indie-folk singer Thea Hjelmeland was already playing.
She's the kind of artist ( crystal clear voice , girl, swedish , soft folk ) who would be perfect for an Oliver Peel session.
As you can see on the pics she's switching instruments.

Then american instrumental rock band Cougar played in front of a very quiet but dedicated audience. Their music is atmospheric without beeing boring nevertheless they should play more up-tempo songs.
For once the drummer's seems to be the leader.
