Paris Bercy peut sembler un peu grand pour les QOTSA avec ses 20 000 places, pari presque réussi puisque malgré des sièges de libres un peu partout et les balcons fermés, la salle est tout de même copieusement garnie.
On passe vite fait sur la première partie Bronco, tellement minable que ça en devenait drôle.

Les Queens sont à l'heure, la scène est dépouillée au maximum avec des néons en plastique verticaux disposés un peu partout autour des musiciens avec un light-show assez moyen et pas d'écrans, je n'ose même pas imaginer ce qu'on dû voir les pauvres tout au fond.
Le son est fort et un peu brouillon et la guitare de Josh presque inaudible.
Comme on dit ça envoi du lourd, pas mal de titres des derniers disques, le concert commence vraiment à s'animer lorsque le groupe interprète les vieux morceaux malheureusement il y en a trop peu.

Les titres des derniers albums sont quand même loin d'égaler ceux des trois premiers ce qui donne quelques longueurs.

 Malgré toutes ces faiblesses, un bon concert dans l'ensemble, mais peut être le moins bon auquel j'ai pu assister du groupe ces 15 dernières années.

The hottest gig of the year so far, sold-out immediately but don't worry they'll be back on Nov 13 @ Zénith in Paris. We probably won't go as Bob Dylan is playing @ Grand Rex on the same day.

Doors opened at 6:00pm

Not a lot of scalpers outside as the security is checking ID on the way in, then they give you a wristband. What's the point of having a wristband once you're in ? anyway...

Masters of Reality is opening and it's their first ever show in Paris. Lots of Stoners were expecting this one, Cool 45 min set.

After a long intermission the band that everyone's expecting: QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE.
There are many songs from the new album "Like Clockwork" that are sounding "ok" for most of them but nothing can't be better than the old stuff.
There's a big screen in the back showing images from the recent videos that are looking a bit like the one from Gorillaz.
Josh is looking good with his short hair and is trying to speak a bit of french when introducing the musicians.
The band is tight and kicking ass even though the setlist could have been better.
Kick ass show !
